I have a /opt partition on it's own ide 10 Go harddisk where i put mainly
    documentation (/opt/doc).

When this drive is not accessed for more than 5 minutes it becomes idle.

That is okay but i would prefer a longer delay before it does idle.

Sometimes i meed more time to read a page and when i ask (click) for the
next one, i have to wait 4 or 5 seconds for the drive to wake up. That's a
little annoying and somehow time consuming.

Is there a config file to safely do that or is-it better to play with the
    bios (which i don't like) ?

    Merci.
