I have SuSE 8.2, and a SoundBlaster PCI sound card. I started to play a
music file the other day, and it gave off a horrible screech, and then quit.
Now it won't play at all. I have run through the SuSE setup program, and no
errors are reported, the card is recognized by the OS - but no sound.

Any ideas on what to try next?
