I just moved to an asus A7N8X-X motherboard based on the nvidia nforce2 chipset
and am mostly very happy with one exception: With hdparm, I can only get udma2
performance; udma3/4/5/6 are disabled!
I'm currently running 9.1 with the 2.4.21-0.26mdk kernel which I compiled from
sources. It is currently set all "mrproper", all mandrake defaults.
Is there a patch I can apply to the kernel to get udma5?
I'm currently downloading mandrake 9.2; did it fix the problem?
