rage 128 tv out HELP!!!

I'm a newbie to linux so bare with me. I installed the ATI.2 driver
from Gatos and configured the tv_output "NTSC" option, and the
resolution is set to 800X600, but linux says it detects a problem with
the display and reconfigures back to the original settings.

I am running Redhat 9 the card is and ATI Rage 128 32mb ram and tv
out.

Any suggestions are greatly appriciated.
