Hello.
I'm currently running WinXP but would like to get back in the Linux
world from which I've been away since a while now. I'd like to install
RedHat 9 (That I bought) but unfortunately can't install it because I have
the Intel 82801EB (SATA) controller and during the installation process, RH
can't find any HardDrive. The bad part is that I don't have the option in
my bios (DELL Dimension 8300) to put my drive in legacy mode.
So, is there anywhere I could download installation CD's of Redhat 9
that would have been built using the kernel 2.6.0 which support SATA ?
Thanks for any help..
P.s. Please don't tell me to install something else like Fedora or Mandrake,
the only option for me is RedHat. :)
