ATA100 on hard rive

Hi: I have MDK 9.2 running on a K2/550 with 256MB ram, ATI Rage 128 video
card. The HD is ATA100 running on a Promise Ultra 100 card. Mandrake runs
the HD at Ata33 as a default so the system is quite slow. Does anyone know
how I can force it to run at ATA100? Appreciate any help. Jon
