Hy anyone,
I have installed on my PC (P4 2GHz, 512 MB) the mandrake 9.2: my problen is
the ADSL modem (Aethra Starmodem).
The chipset of the modem is Globespam and then I used driver eciadsl (vers.
0.8, the stabile version) downloaded in tar.gz format and configurated with
the folow parameters:
VPI: 8
VCI: 35
Sync.bin.:synch01.bin
Tipo modem: Aethra Starmodem
Protocollo di trasmissione: RFC2364
DNS: 62.211.75.53
62.211.75.54
When I try to start my ADSL connection:
# startmodem | tee log.txt
setting up USB support (1/5)..
loading OHCI support
/lib/modules/2.4.22-10mdk/kernel/drivers/usb/host/usb-ohci.o.gz:

Hint: insmod errors can be caused by incorrect module parameters, including
invalid IO or IRQ parameters.
You may find more information in syslog or the output from dmesg
modprobe: insmod
