Help,

I've been trying to get my Ati 9600 All in Wonder card to work w/ the
Ati drivers. I modified the paths in the make.sh script. Running this
script gives:
"XFree86 drm includes at
/lib/modules/2.4.20-27.9/kernel/drivers/char/drm do not fit this
driver.
This driver is designed to only work with X4.1.0 or higher.
You can match this by getting Linux kernel 2.4.8 or higher."

I have XFree86 4.3.0 and kernel 2.4.20-27.9.

When I run fglrxinfo I get:
"Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server
Xlib: No protocol specified

Error: unable to open display :0"

lsmod shows no video module.

I updated to the afore mentioned kernel and re-installed the Ati 4.3.0
rpm download.

I've spent several hours on this and still only have command line
ability - after I hit control alt F2. Maybe the card should be called
the "I Wonder if I can get this working" card.

Any takers? I'm a newby...

Thanks,

Tom...
