Hi,

i'm a new user of wonderful linux os. I installed Mandrake 9.2 on my
computer.
Unfortunately, i have a Zyxel 630-41 adsl modem.
I say unfortunately, because mandrake doesn't support it.

No problem, because on the internet i found the drivers.

The real problem is that i found the drivers but not a clear explanation
on the installation.

So, my question is: does linux adsl modems have to be installed on a
partucular dierctory? witch one?
What is a general procedure to follow when installing a adsl modem?

Any tips or suggestions?

Consider that i usually work on windows, and that probably makes me
difficult to understand some
fundamentals of linux.
thanks,

Manolo
