I'm looking for a reasonably priced something that has S-video, composite
video and two audio inputs so that I can run my DirecTV/VCR signals (not
at the same time) to my computer and copy from them. Those inputs are the
only features I'm interested in.
I tried the ATI TV Wonder PCI card which works but only supports RF cable
input. I"m also a little unclear on its output - mpg. The couple Windows
progs I used hoping to burn to a DVD as a test (to see just how bad RF
inputs were going to look when played back), they don't recognize mpg as
something I can burn to DVD.
Couple other things I'm wondering are, is there such a thing as an S-video
splitter? And would I have signal quality problems if I used a 25'
S-video cable?
