IIRC, the Fedora kernel is built with both APM and ACPI included, but both
disabled by default (i.e. you're probably already using the equivalent of
pci=noacpi already). Try switching ACPI *on* by booting the kernel with
"acpi=on" as an extra parameter.

The Fedora/Red Hat documentation and release notes are usually pretty
handy. After that, googling USENET is usually a good way to start.
