I'm trying to install RH 9 on a Compaq Proliant PL1600R and it's not
finding the mouse. Any suggestions on how to get it working or what
I've missed?
I'm following the guide at :
http://www.cpqlinux.com/steps.html
I'm using the SmartStart 5.5 CD that "knows" about Linux as an OS.
System firmware is P08 from the 5.5 CD.
I've selected a generic 2 button mouse, unknown monitor, the graphics
is detected properly. The keyboard works.
I noticed that the USB support loads at boot and fails since this
system doesn't have USB. One of the items that USB configures is a
keyboard - could that be interfering?
TIA
