Crash when trying to mount CD Fedora Core 1

Hello,

I have Fedora Core 1 installed on my machine. I have 2 hard drives,
1 cdrw (as cdrom), and a cdrom drive.

The cdrw can mount and read disk's fine. I stick a CD in, it automounts
and appears on my desktop.

But if I stick a data cd into the second cdrom (only) drive the entire
system hands. X freezes, nothing responds. Lights on CD go on and stay
on forever. Only way out is to do a hardware reset.

I know the CDROM was working because I used both drives when
installing Fedora.

I can stick in an audio cd, and the cd-ripping tools with ship with
fedora pick up all the tracks on the CD. - I just can play the disk.

I'm really stuck with this one.

I did have to manually edit my fstab to get fedora to mount my second
hard drive. Could I have done something here to cause this problem.

So far I've tried removing all CD entries from fstab and allowing
the system to recreate them. I then tried removing the hard_drive
entry I added to see if it would mount a disk. - On both occasions
I got the same result.

I've included the contents of my fstab below, and also the result
of dmesg.

Thanks,
Michael Woods
