Ref: Debian (Woody upgraded to sid), KDE/KDM
I just bought a new ViewSonic A90f 19" monitor (finally have full
color on my P4 box (old 17' monitor had a fried red DAC)).
I got a discount on it because the small shop used the packaging to
return a faulty monitor. So, I didn't get the documentation.
What I need is the XF86Config-4 'modeline' for:
1024x768/xxHz (24bit. spec says I can go 105Hz. but, 75-85Hz. ok).
800x600/xxHz (24bit. spec says I can go 132Hz. but, 75-85Hz. ok).
I tried a couple KDE tools, but, the 'screen' was way to the right.
When I tried some new figures, X bombed out, So I went back to my old
config for the 17' monitor (which shows some flicker (it's 60Hz)).
So if you have an A90f and a good display, please share your monitor
settings with me.
Thank You!
