    I have a Dell Inspiron 5150 with a 3.06 GHz Mobile Pentium 4 processor
running a 2.6.5 kernel. In the cpufreq section, I have p4-clockmod and
speedstep compiled in, and enhanced-speedstep excluded (since the help
stated that it was for Pentium M only).

    Right now, /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_driver says that
it's using p4-clockmod. But the specs from Intel for my processor says
    that it uses Enhanced Speedstep.

So is the kernel description for enhanced-speedstep wrong? Should I
compile that instead? Or is p4-clockmod really the correct driver for this?

    Thanks for the help.
