ATI Mobility Radeon 9600 and Fedora

I all, I'm using an ASUS M67N notebook with Fedora Core 1.
I have problem in using a 1280x800 resolution, because my Mobility
Radeon 9600 is not seen by Fedora. I tried to install ATI drivers, but
I've got problems.
how can resolve my problems?
