Hello --

Does anyone know how these drives appear under Linux? As far as I know, nobody
makes a 500GB hard disk drive, so does it use two drive mechanisms and some
kind of RAID controller to appear as a single volume, for example /dev/sda1?
Or does it appear as /dev/sda1 and /dev/sda2?

I'd appreciate any advice on this. Best regards,
