Like what? I have asked questions in a number of forums, like the ALSA
ones, and the only answers I got were from people who, like me, were
puzzled about the discrepancy between ALSA's reputation and their own
experiences. Usually, when asking questions about ALSA the answers
obtained are either none, or pleads for help from somebody else who is
suffering the same problem. I have also searched the net for answers, and
couldn't find them, with the same results.

If you have some actual, constructive, realistic suggestions that are not
complete platitudes please give them. If, on the other hand, you don't
know about this issue any more than I do, please don't waste my time and
yours.
