Thanks for the reply.
I checked lsmod and there isn't anything here that uses floppy. In fact,
I don't have a floppy drive on the system...
I looked at dmesg on startup and didn't see anything unusual (to me) in
there. I'll try again on a cold start and see if anything shows up.
I really appreciate the input. I'm new at this and have no other
resources other than these newsgroups.
