Hi
When I shutdown my system with the Alcatel Speedtouch USB connected it
freezes completely when sending all processes the term signal. With
rchotplug stop and the modem unplugged from the USB port it shuts down
nicely. I have got two independent USB controllers but swapping the modem
makes no difference.
Here are the last messages from console 10:

System is a dual Athlon MP 1400, AMD A7M266-D, SuSE 9.1, kernel
2.6.5-7.95-smp. (2.6.4something worked fine on shutdown but froze randomly
possibly with some IRQ issue while running. Could be some sort of same
problem, could be not.)
Am I really the only one with that problem? If yes it might be some f****d
up hardware, but I could only isolate the problem down to mainboard,
processor, RAM, USB and Speedtouch by disconnecting the rest.
Help very much appreciated.
