Buy a new controller. It's not that Linux can't see past 137 gb, it's
that your IDE controller can't address anything past 137 gb. A new
controller card works great. The only catch that you might run into is that
a few motherboards don't have the option of booting to an IDE device other
than what's built on to the motherboard.
