Hi Noi
At first. It seems to work now.:-)
As you proposed, I plugged out the card and did a reboot
of the system. But now I changed also the position of the card.
Physically instead of behind the 3com network card I placed
the card on a PCI slot which is physically on the other side
of the network card. I know PCI is a Bus, so it should have
no influence. But?? After this I installed new, as well as I did
in former tests but now it works. Also after reboot the card
plays sound immediatly.
May be the old slot has a problem? Nevertheless now it works
and I closed the PC and hopefully I never need to open it again.
Thx. and best regards
Boris
