ir module

I have a barebone (CFI) computer, and my motherboard has a 5-pin connector
for IR-module. But i can only find USB ir-modules, and I don't even know
what this kind of connector is called. (it's simply 5 pins in a row with
standard distance)

Does anyone know of any IR-modules for this connector? (and is it possible
to make it work with SuSE linux 9.1?)

Or do you maybe have an idea of what to search for to find such a thing?
