Hi All,
I have a Seagate 60Gig IDE drive that is jumpered down to 30Gig (was in a
P2-233 that died (CPU or PS) - RIP). I've stuck it in my newer P4 box,
works fine.
I'd like to know the affects of removing the 30Gig jumper.
Will the current partition remain? (30Gig single FAT32, non-boot)
After removing the jumper, what are the odds that cfdisk will allow me to
allocate the rest of the drive for a Linux partition (and keep the current
vfat partition intact)?
Thanks for any comments/advice. (yes, I'll back-up before tinkering!<G> I
ain't brain-dead, it just seems that way.)
Don't 'Google' for me, but if you have a good link handy....
