Hey everyone, I'm fairly a newbie when it comes to linux. I'm currently
working on a RH9 install. And I'm really only having 2 major problems.

For whatever reason, I cannot seem to get my soundcard either installed or
correctly configured. Its a SoundMax Integrated Digital Audio card, built
into my Asus motherboard. RH9 initially dedected it as some Intel card with
AC'97 codec stuff. I was able to download linux drivers for the SoundMax
from Asus' website, and compile and install the module. But I've pretty much
hit a wall as far as getting it to configure and work. If anyone could help
guide me though this that would be great.

The other issue I'm having is probably simpilar, I just don't know what to
do. I was able to install and configure drivers for my SATA controller card.
And it works when I initially loaded the module. However, I cannot get RH to
detect the device and load the module on startup. Kudzu just tells me that
it can't find a driver for it. Any help getting this to work correctly would
be appretiated as well.

Thanks in advance,
