I have a problem with my Toshiba SD-W1101 DVD-RAM drive. Reading CD's,
DVD's and DVD-RAM disks works fine, but when i write, my system start to
run encridible slow. I didn't have that problem when i used a Panasonic
drive and top doesn't show any processes hogging the CPU time.
My system data:
2x Pentium 3 550 mhz on a motherboard with BX chipsset.
Adaptec 2902 SCSI controller, connected to the DVD-RAM drive and a
PlextWriter 12/4/32. There are no problems when i write with the Plextor
drive.
Debian testing with Linux 2.4.28
