Yeah, you don't seem to be able to find a later Voodoo for love nor money.

In my mind, it was probably going to be an ATI vs nVidia choice and your
comment plus a few other things I've read have swayed me towards ATI.

It looks as though the Radeon 9200 is the best PCI card, plus I've seen
lots of threads where people have managed to get it working under Linux
and a mention that Linux drivers are easily obtainable for ATI cards for
the 8500 and above.

Now it's just a case of tracking one down... ah, www.ebay.co.uk has one...
