    I already tried many different /dev/sd** possibilities without luck. Too
    bad there is not a way for usb-storage to properly report which /dev/sd**
    it connects to.

    cdrecord -scanbus does not show the camera, just me CD-drive:

    $ cdrecord -scanbus
    Cdrecord-Clone 2.01a34 (i686-pc-linux-gnu) Copyright (C) 1995-2004 Jörg
     Schilling
    ...
    Linux sg driver version: 3.1.24
    Using libscg version 'schily-0.8'.

    usbview shows usb-storage when I connect the camera.

    I read something about "module sd" but I'm not sure if I need to recompile
    the kernel just to get that since modprobe sd reports "Can't locate module
    sd".

    Any ideas?

    Thanks,
    Anthony
