connecting USB PDA Linux

Hello together!

Just have a problem with my PDA (Toshiba e740) on Linux (Suse 9.1).
Linux finds the thing but I canīt up or download data. Of course I
also canīt synchronize it with Linux. I also have Windows over Linux
via VMWare but also no contact with my PDA.
/var/log/messages says when turning on PDA:
