My KT133 Athlon 900MHz Tbird system is starting to spontaneously turn
off after a few days. I don't mean shut down, I mean when I go to the
machine it's powered off and there's nothing in the log about it.
I installed lm-sensors and have 'sensors' printing to a logfile every
minute but right away I noticed an 'ALARM':
via686a-isa-6000
Adapter: ISA adapter
CPU core: +1.79 V (min = +0.06 V, max = +3.10 V)
+2.5V: +0.36 V (min = +2.36 V, max = +2.61 V) ALARM
I/O: +3.42 V (min = +3.12 V, max = +3.45 V)
+5V: +5.00 V (min = +4.73 V, max = +5.20 V)
+12V: +12.01 V (min = +11.35 V, max = +12.49 V)
CPU Fan: 5314 RPM (min = 0 RPM, div = 2)
P/S Fan: 0 RPM (min = 0 RPM, div = 2)
SYS Temp: +92.1°F (high = +295°F, hyst = -96°F)
CPU Temp: +118.4°F (high = +295°F, hyst = -96°F)
SBr Temp: +75.0°F (high = +295°F, hyst = +295°F)
Is this a problem that the +2.5V meter reads +0.35V or is this just bogus?
Thanks,
Mike
