You are right! The traditional 1U/2U rackmount servers (chassis) have the
difficulty of un-racking units from racks for upgrade services. My
department has recently converted many traditional 1U/2U based servers to
blade-style servers. We use a new styled rackmount chassis called ATXBalde.
It is a non-proprietary ATX based blade server chassis. It offers better
server management and way much easier to remove a server from a rack for
routine upgrade services.
