I'm interested in using a Lacie Big Disk (500Gbyte) external storage
disk drive using either USB 2 or Firewire on IBM Intellistation
running Redhat Linux Enterprise WS V3. My main purpose is to use the
drive to backup all our other, much smaller disks drives on our LAN
and to be able take this disk off-site for safe keeping.
I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with using Lacie Big
Disk on a PC running Red Hat Linux and could offer any advice.
Thank you for any help or suggestions you can offer.
Best regards,
Adrian
