I had to install a 4-channel card for video surveillance. chip bt868.
if I connect the first connector to the camera everything is OK (xawtv,
/dev/v4l/video0). the problem is that I cannot find the other channels.
Tried mknod video(1-3), but nothing happens and xawtv reply:
can't open /dev/v4l/video1: No such file or directory
v4l-conf had some trouble, trying to continue anyway
v4l2: open /dev/v4l/video1: No such file or directory
v4l2: open /dev/v4l/video1: No such file or directory
v4l: open /dev/v4l/video1: No such file or directory
no video grabber device available
question: how to have all 4 channels available?
thanks for any help...
bye,
stefanie
