Not strictly a hardware question, but probably closer than anything. I've
seen advertised in photography magazines a doodad you can get to stick on
your monitor screen, and fradiddle around to get it color calibrated. Most
of these things seem to runwith MS software. I was wondering what anyone
here might suggest. It would seem that if you can get a calibrated printed
test strip, and put up boxes of the same colors on the monitor and then
tweak the monitor adjustments that you should be able to do an adequate
    job. Any ideas??

    thanks for input.
