DRIVER for Creative Audigy LS Soundcard does not work

Hello,

i'm running debian 2.6.8 unstable,
I've an Audigy LS card from Creative
but i cannot get it working.
I know i need this driver:

and i've downloaded ALSA 1.0.7rc

I followed the instructions:

It all works, no errors, but i have no sound!!

I also tried to run alsaconfig,
it recognizes my card : Audigy LS, and uses the audigyls driver.

But that did also not work:
- the driver is loaded
- i can play music
-- BUT i do not hear anything

I DID unmute the channels
I DID try all the outputs of my card

In XMMS i have selected ALSA 1.2.10,
and i can select the following output devices:
Default PCM Device (default)
AUDIGYLS:AUDIGYLS (hw:0,1)
AUDIGYLS:AUDIGYLS (hw:0,1)
AUDIGYLS:AUDIGYLS (hw:0,2)
AUDIGYLS:AUDIGYLS (hw:0,3)

But none of them work.

Some facts:
i have the KDE sound system enabled.
