I've mailed the developer of the driver,
he tells me to do the following:

It all depends on how your speakers are attached.
Currently, it is outputting sound to the spdif digital output.
numid=45,iface=MIXER,name='SPDIF Out'
; type=BOOLEAN,access=rw---,values=1
: values=on
Change that to off, and it will output to the analog outputs.

But how do i do that, what does it really mean?
I've put my speakers on all the out-channels of the card.
