    I just tested my "old" 2.4.20 kernel (belongs to Suse 8.2).
    recompiled alsasound - and it works! Obviously 2.4.26
    is buggy, not ACPI BIOS!

    Can somebody here tell me whether 2.4.27 oder .28 are not so buggy? Or
    .24 ord .25? - I've not so much time to test all kernels ..
