Thanks, this was exactly what I was looking for. Do you have any
recommendations on any of the gps usb mice on gpscity? The Garmin 18 -
USB says
The output format on the OEM 18 USB will only work with the Garmin
MapSource Software. The GPS unit will not do live tracking with any other
software available.
Does this mean I couldn't use one of the opensource programs that supports
the NMEA format?
