Computer rebooting by itself

Hi there,
   I'm having some troubles with my computer, it is rebooting instantly by
itself. I know this is linux related, I'm using Windows these days and I felt
like asking you guys because you really know your stuff! (I used to have linux
and I will install it very soon...)...

   So, my problem is this: at random times, the computer will blackout and start
booting. I mean, the screen instantly turns black, then the next thing is the
bios loading...

   I rarely had this trouble with linux, however I have this problem A lot with
windows... I'm wondering what could be causing this? At first I thought this
must be a powersupply problem. Just got a new powersupply and the problem is
not resolved.

Here are some specs:
Motherboard: SOYO 6VBA
CPU: PIII 450Mhz
RAM: 256Mb SDRAM
2 HD: one old 7Gb and one fairly new 30Gb
2 CD devices: one new DVD all-media-burner and one old 52x CD OEM
1 old SoundBlaster Ensoniq card
1 AGP GeForce 2 MX 32Mb
1 Ethernet card

I've ran multiple times fsck with the block checking option (using KNOPPIX) on
all my drives/partitions and found nothing wrong.

I've ran memtest86 for more than 6 hours, doing 8 times the test with perfect
results.

What could be causing my problems? I really feel dumb now that my powersupply
doesn't seem to fix it...
