Redhat 3.23-34, Kernel version 2.4.21-15.0.3.ELsmp
I have a Belkin 4 port usb card in a HP machine that also has a scsi interface
with a couple of drives.
The usb adapter is recognized just fine. The DVD drive is no where to be be
found. No reference in /var/log/messages. Obviously no mount. Any clue how
to fix this? It is obviously plugged in.
A sun box recognizes the drive's twin as:
Sony DRX-710UL DRX-710UL_MP_000E61B
