Hi,
I experienced the following problem:
After installation of SuSE 9.2 with no problems and after having some
online updates, the wireless card and modem have been correctly
detected. The wireless card allows me to see the network and signals a
good strength. But I cannot access the network, while the windows
installation with teh same parameters accesses the network succesful.
The modem is detected and I can give AT commands to it, but it does not
connect to the phone line (take off).
Any I deas? I suspect probems with the kernel. Installing SuSE 9.1 on an
older laptop gave no problems at all. Installing 9.2 on it, made even
the network card not work. So I assume the kernel is a problem?
Thanks
Karl
