ami BIOS messages go by too quickly

Hello,

I'm getting some complaints from my bios, but the messages go by too
quickly for me to see what they are, other than something about an 80 pin
connector.

Is there a way to view these messages? Or to slow the damn thing down (or
stop it completely would be the best) so I can read the F)#^%^ing messages?

It happens WAY before the OS loads, and if I hit DEL to get to the BIOS
settings, I can't see the messages either....

SIGH...
