I'm no expert so this may not be very explicit: my PC runs Suse Linux
9.1, it has a dvd drive and a cdrom drive. In the boot log I see both
devices apparently detected and assigned to /dev/hdc and /dev/hdd
respectively. When I start the session, my cdrom drive isn't mapped and
does not appear in my hardware list. Suse usually mounts the drive on
/dev/cdrom and maps it to /media/cdrom, but the /dev/cdrom mount point
doesn't exist anymore (initially it was linked to /dev/hdc so I couldn't
access the cdrom anyways). Any suggestion would be welcome.
