That looks good.

Looks like you use Debian or a Debian based distribution, so you should
edit /etc/modprobe.d/sound or create your own file in /etc/modprobe.d/.
You also need to be in the audio group (adduser xan audio) and unmute
the sound cards (use alsamixer from the alsa-utils package or some
other program to control the volume).
