It seems that I need a new serial card. I need a 2 or 4 port fairly basic
card that will work with linux, specifically the 2.6.10 kernel.
The card will drive one external fax modem and collect logs from my
firewall, so nothing too strenuous.
The two ports on the mobo are already in use, so I don't want to use
anything that shares those interrupts.
Oh yes, and since this is for my home system, price is very much a
concern. I don't need an intelligent controller for mega$$$, just
something basic.
Any suggestions?
