    Hi,

I want to try Linux and I have a winmodem...
Anyway I want to get another modem that linux would recognize and use
without having to mess with "drivers".

I want a PCI modem, and I was looking at a Intel 536P with chipset
    DQ82536EP.

    Would this be good enough?

    Thanks
