I googled quite extensively, actually, but I didn't find anything that
seemed to address this issue. A change in the boot isolinux might
explain it, but the incidents occur with a Slack 9 CD that I burned in
6/2003 and have used for installs on both these machines in the past.

It turns out that it will be easier to simply block the top offenders
manually; the rules for pattern matching are too arcane, obscure, and
difficult to program. -- t. pascal, comp.mail.misc, "procmail to
filter spam"
