Hi,
I'm cosidering buying a new PC based upon AMD 64b Athlon (3000+) and the
above mentioned mother board.
I was wondering whether someone has already installed Linux on that
board. If yes, I'd be happy to hear from your experience and especially
refering to the following points:
a. Does the PC include SATA HD?
b. If Y, was the HD recognized during Linux (& Windows) installation
without any fuss?
c. What distribution did you install, what version (32/64). As a Mandrake
user, I'm especially interested in Mandrake-related experience.
d. Did you have to compile the kernel (which version) in order to install or gain
stable operation?
TIA
