Engergizer UPS?

Can anyone help me with setting up a Energizer UPS under Nut?

I've got the driver installed and made the suggested modifications to hiddev.c,
but there still isn't communication with the UPS via USB.

The suggested modification to hiddev.c isn't viable as written, since it leaves
parentheses asymmetrical, etc.

Can anyone give me a hand with this? The entire reason I bought the UPS was so
that I could ensure a controlled shutdown if the power stayed off. There's no
point in a server you're afraid to use.
