Shuttle XPC: some prepurchase questions

I'm thinking of building a media pc, either mythtv or freevo, based
around a Shuttle XPC system, probably the SN41G2 V3. I'm fairly
confident about most things, but I have a couple of questions.

The place where I am intending to buy includes, as an option, an
802.11 b or g module. I think this is a dedicated Shuttle module, but
I can't get info on the chipset. Does anybody know anything about this
module? Are the appropriate firmware/kernel modules available? Anybody
with experience of one?

They also sell an 'XPC remote control (non-IR)' which "allows access
to 19 Windows hot keys, mouse cursor".

Again, anyone tried one? Any luck with xbindkeys with it?
